Simple problem... Unknown Device

Is there anyone that can help me...

I have this Sony :roll: MP4 player and windows won`t recognize it

I pluged it to USB port and it restarts all the time

Windows gives me message like "Device malfunction... bla bla.. will try again" or something like that

Do i need some kind of drivers for it

please help or ill smash it with my hammer (good old mechanical devices always work) :twisted:

I fixed my problem..... seems that the cable i have is not USB 2.0

try.. might help
