Take Memory back
I have an mp4 player , 512 MB, the true size is 475Mb, and I used it many times to ensure the true size
I upgraded with wrong fw and it dead it even couldn't connect as an USB someday ago, I try to connect as an ADFU devide and upgraded with a full fw to bring it back to live, but it's not a correct fw so, it can only connect as USB devide , there's nothing on the screen and can't play anything (music, video, picture....) and its memory downs from 475Mb to 108Mb I don't know how to take the true size back can someonen help me |
phuongzay, I suggest you open your player and check the serial number on the memory chip then you will know it's true size.

thanks datad1 alot for your reply quickly
I used this player as usb so many time before I stored alot of data and I can sure that the true size is 475Mb, hix, poor me! Don't know where my 367Mb is. |
Why don't people use the Chat program of this site?
always be : "there are 0 user on chat now" |
It is normal to loose some MB from the original 512MB. There is a section in the memory holding programs, menu's, codecs and stuff, software. I do not know how you calculate, but you can not be missing 367MB when your player shows 475MB.

phuongzay, the other thing you should check is that none of your memory is being used an encrypted partition. Open the MP3 Player Disk tool and go to the partition encrypt tab and move the slider all the way right then back all the way left, then press start this will rebuild the partition to a single one if it is split.
