Default Woah, don't listen to these guys, you'll lose your memory.

I have a 8gb nano style from EBAY and it worked fine with 5Gb of music on it, until I used the toolpack from on here, with the disk manager tool. That tool single handedly wipe out my partition table and fragged all hopes of recovering the memory, unless someone out there has the tool to recover all of it. It formats under XP with 7.99 GB and now I got a 2 gb with this crapass tool. You figure it out.,

Also why hasn't anyone reverse engineered the firmware and written anything that completely sets up a new Os>?

CHODE.....i'm afraid tadad1 may be right here...open up your player and tell us what the memorychip says, then we probably can sort things out.

Zany, he won't be back, check his other post. Probably a seller. Admin should look for his ip if possible, to check where he is from.

I was wondering if what CHODE said was true?

If it was true, then why are ALL players shipped WITH a CD containing the "Toolpack" that CHODE mentioned?

Are the sellers or manufacturers trying to kick themselves in the ass?

Why ship something with the player, IF IT WOULD damage the player?
It's like selling a car and giving free cooking oil to use as petrol. Doesn't make sense does it?

And for your last question CHODE, regarding the reverse engineering.
We are waiting for you to reverse engineer the players firmware to make it into a mobile phone, or even a NASA Shuttle Remote Control.

Get a life.

Nothing like a seller who sells hacked players, trying to discredit this site by "breaking" his own hacked merchandise. Click the image to open in full size.

Alright, keep your panties on.
Thanks for the Christmas wishes dudes.
So the other Day I got a 100 dollar refund from Blown-Z the dude I bought these from, and yes I am here digging for people to give me answers, not heresay. Reverse engineering proves much about players, and rewriting firmware would be great, considering what we're dealing with...

Kinda leaves one feeling like, shit, am I getting screwed?> They give us cd's with shitty software that only slides the cryptic formatter utility to under 2gigs. That's weak, what about future MP4 video players, huh? aren't certain
that that wouldn't work for anything above 2 gigs? So, my real question now is are there any players... out there,,, past time><2gigs.!

+ so In closing
what options do we have?
other than straight refunds??
