Default Applicable Firmware for MP4 Player

Here is what happened, my MP4 player's firmware hung up once and I tried resetting it by turning it off. What happened next was the opening logo could not load up so I decided to look for a firmware that would match to it. I saw from the Setup menu of the MP4 player that it has a S1 Mp3 player label and the creator of the firmware was Wilson Co. Ltd. version 3.5.37 so I tried looking for the same version and uploaded it. But suddenly my player went blank and after a few more seconds, it could not be recognized by the PC. Here is a pic of my player (actually this is how it looks like):

Could someone give me the right firmware for this MP4 player?

I saw the steps about dead players and I am going to do all of those as soon as I have the right firmware.

It would be highly appreciated to receive some help on this, please lead me to solving this issue.

THANKS GUYS! I know someone out there will help me.

Sincerely yours,

RiYoko®

riyoko , there is no "right" firmware. Nobody is able to tell which firmware will work with which player.
You will need to perform the Dead Player Recovery, and try all the firmwares found in the downloads sections, until you get one that works with your player.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

lattesurf,

so i think i have to accept the fact that all that i have to do is some trial and error stuff...

*sigh* oh well, if that would be the last thing for me to save my player, i think i don't have any other choice.

thanks anyways and happy holidays!
