Please Help my mp3 stops

hi
my mp3 stops suddenly when i am listening mp3 and writes "WAITING...".
it do it when i am listening music but when i am listening FM, record something or doing something else it works normaly. i changed battery but doesn't help. if i need firmware can u tell me which firmware to download?

What capacity is your player?
It sounds like you may have some memory issues, try formating the player in fat format.

Do not try to upgrade or load another firmware it will most likely kill your player.

it's memory is 128MB
if i format it all data will be deleted so after that how can i write firmware?i don't have it

deathforever, formating the player should not affect the firmware.
You could also run a disk check by right clicking on the player in Explorer and select Properties>Tools>Error Check with both options selected. This will correct any file system problems.

What format is your music files you are playing?

mp3 and some of them wma but mostly mp3
