Default mp4 help. pc not seeing player

i recently bought two of the nano knockoffs from ebay. i know all about the hacking being done but the price was too good. both worked as soon as they were connected to pc for the first time. after that the pc doesnt even see them. the screen on the player show that they are connecting but nothing on pc. and they also charge connected to usb. I even took them to another pc but no luck. any suggestions?I dont even know what model they are. the only thing i found was firmware version ACT2097_S72_12006/04/259.0.502006/10/30. hate to have to fight seller for refund. any help would be appreciated.

Well - The last time you plugged it in and it worked, did you just pull the usb cable out? If you did, it could stopped windows from detecting it.

If not, Read the Dead Player recovery guide, click HERE for it!

It might help windows detect it.

psiberthug , try going to your System Device Manager.
Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> System icon >> Hardware tab >> Device Manager.

Now expand the Disk Drives option and you should see your computer harddrive.
Next, plug in your player to the USB, does a new "Generic USB Disk Device" (or something similiar) appear?
Are there any yellow warning icons on it?

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
