My Dead player displays busy watchglass all time ???
 

1.My MP4 was probably attacked by a virus & virus needs to be removed.
2.It only displays a busy watchglass sign all the time.It freezes & doesn't open at all.
3.I even tried the dead player recovery process but failed.
4.I've the right firmware but during firmware upgrade it displays an error"Invalid Firmware file upgrade!"
5.So I even tried installing the repaired firmware after repairing the firmware file in sw1fx folder.
6.There is detection of mp4 as a removable disk but no removable drive is detected in "my computer".
7.At present,it still displays the busy watchglass all the time.It has no firmware installed.If there is any thing I should
do to remove the busy sign into dark screen so I could easily follow the dead player recovery process.Anything that sud be done ???

I even tried to upgrade it with mp3 player utilities 4.05 and it displayed different error "Read or write information failed! Please exit the program and check if device connecting".... It must be a virus's result so tel me wat sud i do????????

I have same problem. But i not have any viruses. And i not have original FIRMWARE.

sachitmaskey , you may need to repeat the Dead Player Recovery guide and get your player into the ADFU state.

Next, try another different Full Firmware. Then start testing with different firmware dumps.

Please tell me how many time need for full firmware update?
I wait 20 and more minutes dut "MP3 Player Upgrade Tool" show only 5 blue squares :((((
I have
USB 2.0 (HS) ADFU Device
in my devices on Windows.

the_prodigy_man , you will only need 1 compatible Full Firmware and 1 compatible Firmware Dump.

Try to use other versions of MP3 Utilities. Sometimes it might be the Upgrade Tool version that is causing it to hang while flashing.

How time need for flah mp4 player?

the_prodigy_man , firmware flashing depends. It can take anything from a few seconds to a few minutes.

But if the upgrade tool freezes for more than 7-8mins, then i would think that it has hung.

In Firmware update utility i look only 5 blue squades. More that 24 hours.
