Firmware for ATJ2091N (need 9.0.50 for 1.5" LCD)

Anyone with the same player able to provide a dump?

Nano Clone
1.5" LCD
Memory: Samsung K9G8G08U0M-PCB0 1GB

Chipset: ATJ2091N

**UPDATE**

Since posting I have found out that it orginally had 9.0.50 firmware on it

I believe it was running on 9.0.43 before I er....F*$ked it up.

I have tried a few firmwares on the site but sadly nothing seems to work.
I tried using : 9.0.43.atj2091h.bin & also 9.0.48 Full for 1.5 LCD

When I flash with 9.048 full it does flash ok, but after the welcome screen I get the low batt icon and then it just powers off.

When I try 9.0.43.atj2091h it just stays in recovery mode.

Anyone got the same player?
mine is this one

nervous1uk , when you used the 9.0.48 Full for 1.5 LCD firmware, does the player function normally while it is connected to the computer via USB?

nervous1uk 1st Jan 2007 2:42 am

Yeah it kinda functions ok when connected to usb.
the connect screen comes up & the battery icon shows it's charging.

but after a few mins the screen become distorted.
So I assume its not quite right for my player

nervous1uk , it seems to me that the firmware you tried might be able to work. But the problem might be that your battery is dead and cannot hold its charge.

Usually for a player with wrong firmware, you'll be able to see either a blue or lighted black screen.

i'll also suggest a format on your player as there are currently no 4GB, and yours is one with hacked memory. The guide is here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html

After this, try the firmware again but leave the player plugged into the USB and see if it able to function normally (play mp3s and videos).

Thanks for your reply,

When I tired that firmware although I couldn't use it, it was still detected as a usb drive & I was able to format it to the correct size of 1 gigabyte.

I then tried to upload the firmware again, but sadly it still doesn't work. just comes up with the low battery icon and switches off

A previous firmware I tried just gave me ablue screen but didn't switch off. So im guessing that the battery is fine.

nervous1uk , if that's the case, then you'll need to wait for sometime until a suitable firmware comes along.
Else try contacting your seller and see if he is able to send you the dump file.

Also check your cd, some comes with a .bin firmware file.

Thanks again,

I have emailed the seller, Hoping he can provide a dump for it. or my old other chance is that someone else on here has identical chipset.
also checked the cd, the was no firmware with it!

until then at least I have 1gig of portable storage!! lol

*Update*

Skunk also bought the same player from the same seller on ebay.
its looking like the player came with 9.0.50 installed & not 9.0.43 as I thought originally

Re: Firmware for ATJ2091N

I managed to acquire a dump from another guy who bought from the same seller.
But it looks like it wasn't dumped right. the update tool says its version 0.0.00
I did try it though, just getting a yellow screen with hourglass icon! :(

but it is the only dump I have tried that has the same yellow load screen as the player originally. I opened the dump with atjupload, to find it only contains 3 files. could this be merged with another firmware maybe??

if anyone wants to take a look at it pm with email address and i will send it.

I noticed there is a 9.0.50 firmware in the download section, but its for 1.8" screen. is there anyway to alter the screen size to make it work on a 1.5" player

i also have bought this mp4 player, and messed it up :-(.

nervous1uk could you please email me the dump you recieved to liam030322@hotmail.com thanks
