profile , you need to explain your problem further.

Is your player able to function/work properly currently?

What do you mean by it connecting for a little while? Does the removeable drive disconnect itself automatically?

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Player does not work properly, because - as I think now - the new firmware is not adequate to this model. Any functions can not be active. There is only one symptom of that my player is not completely dead: when player is conneted to the computer, PC can see this new device for a while (about 10 seconds). And then this connection between PC and MP4 disappears. I think that if the connection lasts longer it will be possible to install new firmware.

profile , run the MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool, if it is able to detect your player, then you need to try all the similiar firmware dumps in the download section.

For this, you need to open your player and look for the processor's serial number (eg ATJ2085 or ATJ2091), then it'll be easier to locate suitable firmwares.

If the upgrade tool does not detect your player, then you need to perform the Dead Player Recovery Guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-play...ide-vt567.html
