itoktoeatfish , currently there are not 9.0.50 firmware files available as the tool that extracts it only supports upto 9.0.43.
However, there are some 9.0.48 that you might want to try here http://www.mympxplayer.org/some-9048...ds-vt2895.html

nicodu78,
The firmware is not working because it is incomplete. s1fwx does not work on firmware above version 9.0.43. At the moment it is almost impossible to recover a faulty player with 9.0.48 or 9.0.50 firmware because there are very few available for download.

Re: 9.0.50 for 1.5" 8gb needed

stupid question, can i get my 9.0.50 mp4 player to work with the older firmware?

tadad1 4th Jan 2007 5:56 pm

itoktoeatfish, No, your player is using one of the newer chipsets and will not run with the older 3.5.XX series firmware.

Re: 9.0.50 for 1.5" 8gb needed

i ment 9.0.48 or 9.0.43 or 9.0.42, etc.

tadad1 4th Jan 2007 6:15 pm

itoktoeatfish, I have a player that runs on a 9.0.43 and a 9.0.50 so yes it is possible, but your chances of success are very very low. Without your players original full version firmware you would have no chance of recovering your player if the downgrade did not go well.
