Default Corrupt rockchip player

hi...

i bought a 2.5" unibit x-811 player, seen at the following link... http://www.unibit.com.cn/eproducts_show.asp?id=164 from china 2 days ago and all instructions are chinese.

i accidently disconnected the USB without turning off or safely closing the connection.

now i cant play any mp3 or video - when i try the player freezes. it does not power down the way it is supposed to by holding play down. you can still play games, make recording, access the settings menu etc though.
there are also loads of files named yyyyyy.yyy that are only visible on the player and not shown on the (G drive when connected.

any help is of great thanks.

gmaster, Formatting the player should not affect the firmware. However you could try a error check instead. Right click on the player drive in Explorer and select Properties>Tools>Error Checking>Check Now and select both options.
