Help: Now showing 2 USBs!!!!!!!!!!!!
 

My fake SONY player details:
CORE: PMA 300_010
DATE: 2006-03-15
FW: SRX-3.5.37
DATE: 2006-03-24 (God knows what is true)
Memory chip: FBNM29B19K3WG (0636 & RFF written below)
Mother Board chip: ATJ2051H (FB314AB & 198 written below)
FM chip: TEA5767
Was advertized as 2 GB but played only 15 songs instead of 550. Formatting as FAT didn't help.So thought of upgrade.1st problem no firmware extract tool on this site worked on both my PCs running Windows XP & 2000. So decided to reload FW 3.5.37 not knowing about Motherboard but then 2 USBs were found & acted as only storage. Loading 3.0.41 led to ADFU device! Followed your Dead Recovery Guide & again 2 USBs! Pl. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bobu, If the player is working go to the settings menu and select On-line Mode and check it is set to Normal Only.
If the player is not working but showing in Explorer you could use "lattesurf's" guide to remove the second drive.

or you can just remove all the files inside the usb and reformat only in one drive using the disk manager tool

Dear tadad1, my device is not even getting ON. So how to access SYS TOOLS MEMORY INFO after "lattesurf's" partition & encryption?
