my Player Hangs on "Starting..."

hi.....i got a mp3 player with board id MP-706E V1.3-GCFM MAIN having ATJ2051 and SAMSUNG 128mb chip.. prob is, when i insert d battery it gives a logo "starting..." and it stays der 4ever!! when i tried connecting it to my pc, it says d device is in ADFU mode... i tried upgrading the fw with the one available on the firmware list, nothing works. it gives an error "REAR OR WRITE INFORMATION FAILED! PLEASE EXIT THE PROGRAN AND CHECK IF THE DEVICE IS CONNECTING". It doesn even work as a USB drive.

Wat can possibly be d prob? i purchased it new without e1 checkin it and i'm facing this prob.. wat can possibly be done to this? is it a hardare or a firmware issue?

slash_inlove, If the blayer is being detected as an ADFU device then it is in recovery mode and you will need to load a full version firmware. In recovery mode the player will not accept a firmware dump. Once you lad the full version the players should be recognised as a removable device agagin then you can try loading some firmware dumps.

i tried all the possible full fw's avbl on this site and on s1mp3... nothing works.. it still gives d same error........ u think anythin can be done?

slash_inlove, This can be a problem with players using the ATJ2051 chipset. Most of the firmware available for download are for the ATJ2085. I can not really offer you a solution, most of the ATJ2051 firmware I have found are for pendrive style mono screen mp3 players so I can not even suggest any firmware for you to try.
I suggest you contact your seller as they may be able to get yoiu a copy of the players firmware.
