Default Another greenhorn who didn't back-up

I have tried to do lots of reading and searching b4 posting. I havn't seen a player that looks like mine, and only a fee posts regarding the firmwear Acts16d_37 3.5.37-001 2006/04/14. [img=right:d4d080c5ed]http://i14.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/7a/9b/49c0_1.JPG[/img:d4d080c5ed]

Just incase the pic doesn't display it is a hot pink player (christmas present for my daughter) with dual head phone jacks, one on each top corner with the usb top center. 1.8" screen color display firmwear previously mentioned, I opened it up today it has a somsung k9k8g08u0a PCBO player offers mp3, wma, amv, fm, photo, address book, games, set up. I did the reformat per the posted instructions to remove the hack. no problems there. I was in a hury and thought I had a match for the fw change or upgrade. the address book did not function, only had one game and could not access all song files. after firmwear upgrade screen went blank. did dead recovery, loaded full version of 3.5.37 explorer detects removable storage device, still have blank screen. tried every 1.8 fw dum in the downloads forum and none work. also tried few 1.5" fw's to no avail. have reformated again, tools and upgrade options detect device, and so does windows, but still have no menue, only bright white or light gray screen with blue bar across top of screen. any help really appreciated, daughter doesn't know I crashed it yet! thanks...David

well better not tell yet..since the player recognizes your player already you just need another firmware (not full firmware) to revive it completely..so you must at least give me a snapshot of your menu or describe it to me.. you can see the menus of a firmware by following the guide on how to modify your firmware at the mods and themes section of the forum...you can get firmwares at the downlods/firmware section...

by the way if you still memorize the menus you can still play the files like mp3s even without menus..usually the only problem is the pictures so try it

I did really try every dump in the downloads. I also am not above trying every one again either! If you got something, I would love to find out if it will do the job. The following is a pic of what the menu looked like on mine.
