My MP4 got crazy!!
 
Hellooo everybody!

I have a Sony MP4 player with 512Mb os space.
The problems are:

1.It cannot read video files now, even if it has read them before.
2.When copying & pasting a music or video file or even a folder in to it, their icons change & they become unworking/undeleted files with strange names & symbols.

----- Plz help me it's urgent.. and if I am to upgrade the firmware, plz teach me how to do it, by copying and pasting the file, or using any tool available????

alazghari, You may have a hacked memory chip, Try "lattesurf's" method to rebuild the partition. This should fix the problem but you may find your memory is smaller than the 512MB.
