blue Screen

Hey - My friend bought one of these mp4 players yea..

He put 9.0.43 firmware which mucked his player up, he spent 2 hours doing the Player recovery guide!

It finally worked! It picked it up, The USB picks it up, and you can add files...

BUT: It shows a blue screen, ONLY a blue screen...

Its wierd.. It picks it up via usb, we've uploaded full proper firmware, its fixed, but it displays a blue screen

the firmware did revived your player but the fw is not fully compatible..you must find a dump firmware(not full) that matches the original player..usually you can still play files even with blue screen..

give me a full description of the fw of the original player
like screen size, pix of the menu, fw version, processor..

Nope - Isnt this - We tried putting on a dump.bin thats CORRECT firmware, properlly. Not a full..

Weve properlly done the method for dead players, it just shows a blue screen...

hmmm. Can you flash it some how?

aah...you may try different version of mp3 upgreade utility..that worked on my player when i revived my playter eith white screen even though the dump.bin is the original...also try diff computer..
