Default Dead Glacier, Please Help Me!!!

I got my 2 gb Glacier today from UXCell, and of course I tried to be all badass and upgrade the firmware without making a backup. Bad idea. So my player died. I went through all the steps on the How To Recover a Dead Player Guide. I thought I finally got it, but when I tried to put the actual firmware on the player, it didn't work. Well, I think it might sorta work. I can recognize the player in windows, but it doesn't let me format it. Also, when the player is on, the screen is just all white, and it turns off after a few seconds like it should. Then, when I push a button the backlight turns on and the screen is white for a while, and then shuts off again. Its almost like the firmware is working, but the brightness or contrast is too high to see the screen.

Anyway, the most helpful thing at this point would either be a full firmware for the Glacier player or a version of the firmware that actually works.

And it would be great to know how I can get the player formatted.

Thanks in advance.
