Default Flash is no responding


Hello to all,

I made a firmwareupdate without backup:::
I followed the "dead player recovery guide" but no success..!

th
there is still a ADFU device in the harware manager, but no disk in the explorer. when i´m using the upgradetool for recovering following message appears :" Flash is no responding" .
Does anybody know somethig that can help to bring my player back to life..?

hay dont wory all you have to do is solder the flashe memory in your mp4

:cry: I have the same problem with my 256mb Mp3. It used to open but when I tried to access anything it say : Drive error and when It ry to access from the computer it keeps telling me to format it, now it doesn't show up on the explorer or opens! :cry:

mowar , try using another MP3 Utilities version. Uninstall the current version and install a different version. Then try to flash the player with the firmware.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Tried all alternative setup utilities, same thing says Flash is no responding. I dont understand why?! :cry:

rikabi , then you may need to open your player and perform the Dead Player Recovery. The guide is here http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-play...ide-vt567.html

However, your player is a thumbdrive style player, and you may not be able to find much firmwares in here. Try http://www.s1mp3.org/en/downloads_fw.php for firmwares related to your player.

Am pretty sure I have right firewire which is the same in my manual : MP-482C-040730.bin
As for opening it, mine doesnt like the same one in the link. Man this look hopeless

rikabi , you might want to take a look at the S1mp3.org site. They are dealing more with the thumbdrive style. http://www.s1mp3.org/en/docs_deadrec.php

hi, thanks for the help. Do you know where I can get that merger program? The links are dead on their site. Anyone can reupload?
