Default nano clone with metal shell

ok so i bought a "8gb" a month ago... thought was great until i found out something was wrong. came here and found out the truth. thank god for this site lol. so its this mp4 player that looks a lot like the brand new nano's ... it has a metal shell that wraps around the entire player. so i din't know how to open it, but i need to know to fix the firmware. i've looked around this site a lot and i can't seem to figure out how to actually take apart the damn thing. it sounds silly but... i just dont wanna damage anything. does anyone have one like this? theres no screws, it looks like a matter of sliding the middle out of the metal shell, but i'm not sure...

jackapacka , for this you'll need a thin blade to pry between the front and back casing.
Move the blade around the whole player to locate the latches. Once located, you'll need to gently release the latches. However, these latches are quite fragile and break easily.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29
