dead mp3 mp4 player needs new driver for xp..
 
I found that there are lots of mp3 mp4 players that ask for xp drivers when you connect to computers... i have tried many ways to install including downloads from other sites... still not recognized by xp... please post recommendations and suggestions on how to repair...

I am having problem now with mp4 with power but only hourglass is visible.. not recognized by xp and cannot find driver it is a chipod mp4..

pls help....

justronics , if your player does not get detected by the MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool, you'll need to perform the Dead Player Recovery here http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-play...ide-vt567.html

If you don't have a backup of your original working firmware, then you'll need to try various firmwares in the downloads section.
Can you still remember what was your previous working firmware version?

sir lattesurf, I have read the link .. thank you...

what are the files i need to program my mp4..
my mp4 is recognized in device manager but still there is no drive letter assigned in the windows explorer... so i still cannot format or do backup of my mp4.. can you guide me pls..

justronics, If you are having problems installing the driver "semliuq" has created a modified version for XP SP2 that may help.
