Looking for firmware ACT_V9.0.48

Hi

Sorry for my bad english, but I'm going to try to explain simply my problem.

I've bought a MP4 ipod nano clone with 1.8 inch color screen.

2006/11/20
ACT_V9.0.48

SAMSUNG 643
K9G8G08U0M PCB0 or K9G8GO8UOM PCBO

Serial n° : LX-2116-V2-9x

After updated the firmware, the screen was blue and the sand timer wasn't move.

My pc recognize my MP4 in USB2.0 (HS)ADFU Device and that's all.

Since updated, I can't use this MP4.

Have you a tip for rework my MP4 ?

Please, If you have a solution for my problem, give me all instructions in easy translate english and mail me : dom.bjn2@wanadoo.fr

BJN971, There is a shortage of these newer 9.0.XX series firmware at the moment. We have a few factory full versions on site but if none of them work for you you may not be able to recover your player at the moment.
There is a new tool being developed that will allow these firmware to be extracted but no news on when it will be released. Once it becomes available there will be a lot more firmware uploaded that may help you recover your player.

Who is working on this new software that is supposed to fix our mp4 players? What are they waiting for? and why do the crooks have software and we cant get it? Is there a way to plug a hardware reprogrammer?

just a few questions out there lol

NovaFoil , wiRe from S1mp3.de is currently working on the newer firmware extraction tool. They are not paid to do so, it is totally out of their will.

It is possible to do direct hardware re-program. But again, there is no such software created yet. And such re-programming modules are not easily available, and would usually need to be custom-made.
