Default why did my player die?


i just got it and it played for a 2 hour drive home and then 20 min to work this morning. i was showing it off by playing a video and it turned off, tried to turn it back on and all i get is the hour glass screen now matter what i do. any ideas or if its saveable? i hate to return it, i had to return one before and it takes 4 weeks

itoktoeatfish , do you still remember your player's firmware version? If it is v9.0.43 and below, you can try an extraction, repair, reflash. The firmware might be corrupted.

Also, does it get detected by your computer? If so, you might want to try formatting it with MP3 Utilities Disk Tool.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
