how long should i wait
 

I am tryin to recover my mp4 with a new firmware and it is taking a realy long time.
I was just wondering hoe long does it usually take before it completes recovering?

technoboy , are you refering to the time it takes for the firmware to write into the player or the whole complete process from shorting to recovery?

If it is firmware writing, it should usually take a few seconds, though some cases might take longer (upto 1-2mins).

If you are refering to the whole complete process, there is no guideline to the time needed. If you are lucky, and the first Full Firmware & Firmware Dump you tried are 100% compatible, then the process might take you about 20-30mins.
If you don't get the right firmwares, it could take you days or even months.
