Need 9.0.48 core firmware for player recovery

I recently purchased a mp4 player from ebay. Less than a week later, the screen went bluish white and played for a few days before going dead. I was able to recover it to the point of being recognized by the computer however, I am now searching for the appropriate firmware. The data is as follows:

Firmware: B806G2V1.4
Date: 2006/10/09
Core: 9.0.48
Date: 2006/9/12

The motherboard has "B803" in the top right hand corner and "RoHS" in the left one. It is flat, black and has a 1.5" inch screen as detailed in the following link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...9911&rd=1&rd=1

Any help would be appreciated.

Coaster,

Thank you for the firmware, however after flashing the playing it didn't work. Thanks for trying to help.

I guess that means I am still on the lookout for a B806G2V1.x firmware.

pmcoz2 , at the moment, the firmware extraction tool S1fwx does support any versions higher than v9.0.43. So others with a working v9.0.48 could not extract theirs to upload to the forum.

However, i'll suggest you try every v9.0.xx firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...mare-dc37.html
If they do not work, then you can't do anything about it and wait till the tool supports your version.

lattesurf,

Thanks for the suggestion, however it seems that none of them work with the player. Looks like I'll have to wait.
