My player doesn't works right!

My brother bought an mp4 (but it really reproduces AMVs) labeled as iPod, it's the same one from the images on the sticky of recovering your dead player. This isn't exactly dead, it's just that when tries to play music it restarts and doesn't plays a thing. On the rest it's OK.

When he connected it to the computer, he executed a file of 4, and then the 4 files deleted, this was really strange.

Also when I connect it to other computers, the computers don't recognize it.

Actually, what happens is that when I have more than 9 songs on the root it doesn't plays them, only the first 9. It restarts when the songs are in folders, so it's really anoying.
