hi....
Usually when u turn my mp4 on, display shows sand clock for few seconds, and than he turns on. Now when u turn it on, it also shows clock, but it doesnt change. I left it for 5 hours and the clock was still there. The other thing was when I pluged it in my computer it didnt recognized it. Pleaseeeee helpppp :( :( |
oh... bad luck...
Well fw mistake I guess.... Well how you mean it didn t recognise it ? You have to backup your firmware and try to repair it ! DO NOT TRY TO UPLOAD ANYS OTHER !!! Just write how you PC reacts on you player... |
i suggest u to do nothing...on ur mp4 right now...just do like groovy says

sedes , if MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool does not recognise your player, then you will need to perform the Dead Player Recovery http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-play...ide-vt567.html
Next, depending on your chipset, the ATJ2085 would use the v3.5.35 or v3.5.37, so you need to try all of them. The ATJ209* uses the v9.0.xx series, which at the moment has very limited firmwares. If your player is still under warranty, i'll suggest you contact your seller for exchange or refund rather than going through the recovery process, as it might take very much longer. |
Re: sand clock for ever...
Hi
I have the same problem: hourglass forever. I managed to open the case and I used the short pins method I found on the forum. The result is that my pc shows the message "found new hardware" and then "Usb device". So I follow the procedure to install the driver "AdfuUpdate.inf" but I get the error message "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware". Do you have any idea what is wrong? Ah, yes this is a chinese ipod with a 8g tag on the back, the chip reports: K9G8G08UOM. |
