It is quite clear that your attempt to upgrade your player was NOT successful. It looks like the same old story... the firmware you 'upgraded' with was incompatible.

Was there a problem with your player BEFORE you performed the upgrade?

You should never upgrade your player with any firmware unless you absolutely know what you're doing. As far as i know you cannot upgrade a player that was maybe fw9.0.48 or 9.0.43 or lower to 9.0.50

All versions are not compatible with all players. And a simple disk error would probably not warrant flashing the firmware.

s1fwx cannot extract versions 9.0.48 or 9.0.50 at the moment, you can try going to the download section and trying various firmware versions and flashing them to your player.. but i think in the end .. you're player is dead until they make a new version of s1fwx to extract 9.0.48 and 50

generally.. no

however you might get lucky.. no harm in giving it a try... download a .43 and try it... there is a .48 in the download section reserved for 'dead player recovery' only, might be your only chance.

Just do it the way you did it before.. by using the Mp3 Player Upgrade Tool. (if thats what you used)

S1fwx is useless to you right now. You don't need it. Can't use it because it can't extract .48 or .50

By the way.. formatting your player too often can cause problems. Once is usually enough.
