fine,
dont believe me. I spent 5 minutes shorting the memory with no luck

Barok , you can short either the memory chip or processor chip. However, shorting the memory chip is recommended as it would directly reset the chip itself causing the player to "reboot". Whilst shorting the processor chip can also be done, but sometimes you might damage the chip.

Either way, shorting of the chips is a trial and error method, so you need to have patience.

Re: Mp4 Dead

Pins that I have short circuit is together? and in any side of the memory?

lattesurf 26th Feb 2007 3:25 pm

Barok , yes you'll need something metal like a pair of tweezers or a metal paper clip bent open.
But there is no way of telling which pins would reset the player. So you need to have patience and slowly short the pins.
