Hi everyone. Im new and i just registered to your forum because I need help. My Mp3 player is called Rok Rugby and has 512Mb storage. It' s a cheap mp3 player no aditional funktions. just recording, navigating, music, 7 color led display, equaliser and thats all.

Last week it got mad. The player was playing mp3 and sound was ok. But the menu and all that was displaying was shown in asian language. i think chinese :) and the thing is this mp3 player doest even have language selection. I tried everithing so far. i got a lot of help with your web site. But i also screw up even more :) when i uploaded another firmware. the mp3 got dead. computer doesnt even know that exists when i plug it on. It doesn't show any removale media conected. and it wont turn on. chip is sigmatel 35xx. I also looked about 4 hours on the net for the firmware for rok rugby. And looks like it doesnt exist. Please someone.. help me fix my mp3. thanks

Neoxy,

Wow, you really did smash it to pieces?

I guess it's a good way to relief all the tension. Though you might have been able to relive it using the "Dead Player Recoery Guide" in the forum next time.

Just be careful about trying to update your player with someone else's firmware. When you get a new player, I suggest you take a backup of the firmware and keep it in a safe place in case you need it again. Have you decided on a player you want to get now?
