dead MP4 recovery for dummies

Hi again,

Earlier today I posted a message on recovering a dead MP4 on a Mac. Now I got a Windows computer but cannot find the correct firmware for my MP4 player. How can I get the dump.bin for the 9.0.48 fw? My player is similar to

http://www.mympxplayer.org/album_showpage.php?pic_id=59

I tried several of the things that I found around (except opening it an using tweezers and so). I could not install the driver to recognize it as an ADFU, I tried to use the s1wfx to get the fw from the playerbut it is corrupted (daahh, otherwise itt would work!). So now I need to get a brand new 9.0.48 fw for that player.

Any help?????

Thanks

jordipt , at the moment, the firmware extractor S1fwx only supports upto v9.0.43, so there is no use in trying to extract a version higher than that. Also, since your player is dead, there is also no use in trying to extract any firmware from it. As the original working firmware has been erased with a non-working firmware.

What i can suggest is to try all the v9.0.xx series firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...mare-dc37.html
