Dead Player HELP!

I just got this player, the video playback was jumpy so I tryed updating the firmware thinking that may fix it. Well now all I get when I turn it on is the hourglass logo and thats it!

The chips are as follows:

Samsung 707
k9hbg08u1m

atj2093h

This is a 4gb mp4 player with a 2 inch screen.

I have tried several firmware versions, some are with .rar or .7z exstensions??? Dont I need bin files?

Please help!

GreenGuy , your player would be using the v9.0.xx series firmwares. So try all of them here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...mare-dc37.html

For the .7z and .rar files, they are compressed archives, you'll need 7-zip software for the .7z archives, download here http://www.mympxplayer.org/7-zip-ver-431-df12.html .
And for the .rar archives, you'll need Winrar, which can be downloaded from www.winrar.com

Re: Dead Player HELP!

Thanks Lattesurf!
Sadly all my attemps to fix this thing have left me without. After flashing the new firmware and getting windows to recognize the player as F: drive, It now causes my pc to reboot and hang. And the hourglass is gone replaced by a white screen?? :(
Did I brick it?
