dead mp4 player

Whats a backup dump.bin, how does is works and where can I find it? Please help me, I bought this mp4 player on ebay for my mom and was trying to put some song on it for her in which it all went bad, I'm using a MAC G4 which can't pick up anything so I went and got virtual PC with Windows XP cause windows can pick up anything I think anyways when i drag and drop the songs on to the player and unplug the player the files are there but then the player restart when I press play so I plug it back in and delete the files and it look like I deleted a part of it Nothing comes up on the screen now So I guess its dead. I am trying to do a dead player recovery but when it reaches to BACK UP DUMP.BIN I don't know what to do from there... Can someone help me please?????

NATTNICE , you'll need to open the player and identify the processor's serial number first (eg ATJ2085, ATJ2091, etc).
