odmpats , for these Gen2 players, you'll need to pry open the white plastic cover on the top (where the On/Off switch is). Removing it, you'll see the screw that secures the player.
Once the screw is removed, you should be able to either lift the casing or slide it open. Do take note of the buttons, as some players need them to be rotated and depressed to allow the casing to slide open properly.
