upgrade tool

I have mp3/mp4 player ipod nano clone...
And it's with 1GB memory. Maybe something to know from where to get a upgrade tool for it...
Sigmatel stmp3504, 2005/5/31 RUIZHIO6 V1.1-6, 002.611.600 firmware... :?:

cunamiss, as far as i know.. there is a program that can upgrade the sigmatel chipset mp4 players.(i don't know that much about them) However Sigmatel are not as common as Actions chipsets as is the firmware, which is what most of these players discussed on this site are.

You should not update your player if there is nothing wrong with it. Once you have overwritten your original firmware it is impossible to recover if the upgrade process doesn't work.

If your player is working fine, then please leave it.

Of course if there is a problem with your player, then we are only too happy to help if we can.
