dfales13,

Did you buy a real i-platinum or a player similar to it?

Can you post images of your player please?

The first thing to check is to look for any stickers and peal them off. Generally the screws are hidden by the stickers.

I have a 1.5 i-platinum from Uxcell with the frozen hour glass screen.

On the usb end, the whole of the white area is a sticker. Peal it off the reveal the two tiny screws.

You've probably discovered this by now, so have to managed to recover the player?

dfales13 , if you're talking about the Full Metal Platinum... the one without any visible means of disassembly (screws n stuff) i've got a short step by step guide to take these apart here > http://www.mympxplayer.org/dirty-scr...ghlight=#27136
