Reliving a dead i-Nickel
 

I have this player:

Chip CTW500
Memory samsung 1GB
screen 1.5"

After a small problem I updated firmware of my player. I download firmware from here: http://www.uxcell.com/public/mp3update/LST-026A(XCELL).rar. Now, my player work only with a white screen. Music playing, buttons works but on display only white backlight (screen, display - sorry, i'm bad speak english).

Very much I ask, if there is at whom such player, make backup and lay out here or send me to cyber_andr@tut.by.

Well guys, Im having the same problem. Im waiting a friend that have the same mp4 player and he will send me his firmware original. I will test here if works i will post here to download. :P

i've got this problem, too. hoping Sr. TV will have a fix for us.

Hey guys,

I have a similar problem with my i-Nickel.
I flashed it with the firmware from UXcell.
Now, I have access to the flash memory in windows
explorer but the screen on the player is blank.

Anyone has had any success in restoring this player?
