Default Newbie, dead player Ipod nano clone 1GB

Bought Ipod clone for daughter, she started to use it and it slowley stopped working until it went dead.
Got it back to being recognised by windows, but firmware not working, get a novel white screen of death.
I have tried all of the v9.0.50 firmwares but they all have the same issue. After opening it up the following could be seen.
Insail 1s91B11 V0.2 2007/01/22 TFT/CSTN 1.5/1.8
The three biggest chip details are;
Hynix kor HY27UT084G2M TPC
ATJ2091N
TEA5767 VBK910 03 DP67043Y

I hope the above is useful, what should I do know. Many thanks.

Denis57 , was the player previously using v9.0.50 firmware? i'll suggest that you try the other v9.0.43, v9.0.48, v9.1.50 firmwares as well.

If they too do not work, you pretty much can't do anything as the firmware extraction software currently only supports upto v9.0.43.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Hi Lattesurf, yes it did have v9.0.50 installed. Last night I tried all of the other firmwares (takes quite a bit of time) but none fixed the problem. Do I have to wait for the firmware extraction software you mentioned to be updated?
Thnks for the reply.

Denis57 , unfortunately yes.

If you had tried all the v9.0.xx series firmwares in the downloads section and none worked, there is nothing you can do at the moment.

As the firmware extraction tool S1fwx only supports upto v9.0.43 currently, other users with working v9.0.50 or v9.0.48 are unable to extract their firmwares to upload to the forum.
