Need Help- bricked my player

hi after updating the firmware 'cause the player was erratic and jerky and ,at times frozen ,link was provided by uxcell player refused to boot or be detected by win Xp so had to go adfu mode and use a different firmware than that suggested by uxcell ie 27a (for the oval one ie pearl z)every time I try the one on their site the player just screws itself badly.
So using version 29 it is seen as a drive after formatting it still no workie even trying the dumps i found, unit does not function it stay s lit and that is all.The bad i did was not to see my original version so now if any one has a firmware adapted to it please indicate it to me ,maybe also correct my way of upgrade ie upgrade file format than upgrade dump.
Thankyou.

evimarn , you'll need to open the player & identify the processor's serial number (eg ATJ2085, ATJ2097, etc). This way it'll be easier to locate a possible group of firmware for your player.

Thanks for the quick reply.
It is an ATJ2091 H
Board# LS103 v2
Samsung K9G8G08UOM

That is all I can gather.
Thanks for your effort.

your player would be using the v9.0.xx series firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...mare-dc37.html
i'll suggest that you try all the firmwares for your screen size. If none of them work, there is nothing much you can do except to wait or get an exchange from uxcell if possible. I'm not sure about uxcell's policy regarding wrong firmware updates, you'll need to contact them regarding this.

lattesurf I appreciate your interest , the thing is that I did not upgrade the wrong firmware but the one on their site indicated by them, that one caused havoc to the unit only a variation of it makes it understood by the pc.I will try the other version and hope for the best.Thanks.
