My dead MP4 1.5 4GB Player
 

Hey, my name is Alex.

I bought some weeks ago my new Mp4, and after 2 weeks of using it, it got frozen. I've been reading and following all the steps and now I have my mp4 in the step of upgrading the firmware, with the black screen but with the light turned on.

I've tried 9.48 and 9.50 uploaded by tadad1 with no sucess. I haven't got a dump obviously because 9.50 cant be dumped with S1res.

I hope you could help me!! :(

my mp4 is very identical of your and i have the exactly problem, but my board is more rarely (ATJ2097H).

alex_eu , you'll need to try all the v9.0.xx series firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...mare-dc37.html

As there is no way of telling which firmware would work properly with yours, i'll suggest that try all those for your screen size which in this case would be 1.5".

My MP4 is still dead, and I've tried ALL. Now I was using an 8GB MP4 just like the other and it got dead again yesterday...

I'm not lucky...

what size is the actual chip really? , Is it really 4GB , if you can desolder it ill buy it from you
