froze up to an hour glass screen

hey there i bought an me2 pmp mp4 player from hk on ebay after one day it froze up to an hour glass screen..it is in adfu mode but nothing i upgrade works.. if any one has any ideas let me know please>>>>>

I would try it but I can't as I can't even connect it to my pc now :(

1.white/black display?re-solder the LCD's pins.
2.Display freeze? re-solder the LCD's pins & Memory flash's pins.
do not simply upgrade firmware.

i have same problem and i want to try reformating ultra n-99i mp4 player, but how...? what software must i use to reformating/reinstalling....? step by step please.....thanx

Open it up and post board ID and CPU.
