The firmware you upgraded with is not compatible with your players LCD type, the only thing you can do is try some other firmware in the hope of finding one that is compatible.

tomkow , as the current firmware extraction tool S1fwx only supports upto v9.0.43, other users with v9.0.48 and v9.0.50 are unable to extract to upload to the forum.

So if the firmwares do not work in the downloads section, there is nothing much you can do except to wait until the new tool is released.

Alternatively, try searching the CD that came with the player. Sometimes the firmware file would be inside. The extension should be .fw or .bin format.

Regarding the memory, likely your player had been memory-hacked. You never had 8GB, but only a 2GB memory chip installed.

lattesurf thanks for reply.
On CD there is no any .bin or .fw. Could you tell me about MP3 Player Upgrade Tool, I thought that this soft is to uploading firmweare.

Regarding memory I agree that is now 2GB, but it can somehow repair, I am sure that before formatting under winxp I loaded 5GB of mp3.

The white screen is more important thing.

tomkow , MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool was the same software that you used previously to flash firmwares into the player.

If you had tried all the firmwares in the downloads section and none worked properly, there is nothing much you can do about it now.

Being able to load 5GB data does not mean that your player had 8GB. Did you play all the 5GB of files? If you did, you would have experienced format error or player restarts. The hack was meant to fool the Windows OS. And there is nothing you can do to repair it.
