SIGMATEL 35004 and 3507 Firmwares
 

Hi...im an Sigmatel 3504 user...i have a IQ sound MP4 2gb, video, audio, fm transmitter, etc etc..

the problem... the same ever...i updated with cd and now screen is black and only can be used as pendrive.

I tried..a lot of solutions but..nothing...i tried sigmatel firmware extractor and other mp4 firmewares and nothing...
when i use sigmatel firmware extractor it gives some error of detection but anyway extract some files that dont work, and the same firmware extractor doesnt detect so well my mp4.

I tried a lot of firmwares even of other brands that looked like mine..but nothing...

I need help!!!! please help everybody who has a Sigmatel 35004 and 3507 mp4.....

Hey, I had the same problem, it looks like I got the same sigmatel mp4 player. I put the cd that came with it in, ran the setup and it completely died. I noticed on my driver cd there were 2 directorys with setup programs.
- 1.5 5Key*********
- 1.8 5Key*********
It installed the 1.8 version, I uninstalled that software and ran the 1.5 version and the player came back to life (in chinese, I managed to navigate to the settings and change it to english) now it's alive again.

Hope that can save your player.

I have sigmatel 3500 player and I have done the firmware upgrade but driver on the disc that came with player was wrong and my player was showing only blue screen :( but I have found working firmware which has recovered my player.How can I upload firmware to help others? :)
