Default Strange acting player

Okay, I got this player, killed it with wrong firmware and broke my battery off. Well, today I have found the correct firmware. I also resoldered the battery (now I broke it off again, because not all pins were soldered). When I plug it into the computer.... no power at first. But after an hour or so it powers and is connected. I then took the chance and flashed the correct firmware, which is working perfectly. But after I unplug it fron the pc it works for a few min and then shuts down. What's wrong with it? Should resoldering the battery correctly solve the problem?

sunburstX , definitely re-solder the battery back again. Also, ensure that you solder the +ve and -ve terminal correctly.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Okay I sodered it. And now? It won't turn on, though it uses the correct firmware.

sunburstX, How can you be sure that the firmware you found after killing your player is the correct one?
Even if it is the same version number or may use the same images for menus etc it may not be fully compatible with your players hardwre components.

sunburstX , was your player working properly (ie plays music, radio, video, etc) with the firmware you flashed in just before you soldered the battery?

If so, double check the battery terminals for polarity.

And does it function properly when you connect it via USB to the computer?

My computer doesnt recognize the mp4, and the recovery guide didnt work.
I don't know exactly where to solder on because the place where + should be connected was just a black gap. If you can tell me how to correctly solder the mp4 i owe you a beer. The firmware was working correctly, but it mysteriously powered up after one hour of computer connection.

Sorry for Double posting, didnt see Tadad's reply. It worked for a few sec and i had the chance to flash the firmware with the correct firmware, I got the chance to try it out. But then it stopped working after about 5 min.

BTW: the firmware was the from same player, i bought a cool design player from chinavasion which is the same as uxcell's fantasia. Only the version of this one is 9.048 and the original one was 9.050. But I swear you, the older firmware worked perfectly.
