ATJ2091N , SAMSUNG 710 K9LAG08U0M and hourglass

I bought a player with ATJ2091N and SAMSUNG 710 K9LAG08U0M.
The player reported 8GB of memory instead of 2GB. I downloaded more than 3GB of mp3 to the player. Now the player is showing only a hourglass.
Connecting the player to the PC the USB Device Properties reports:
USB\VID_10D6&PID_FF66\5&E22B001&0&3.
I can't find any ADFU driver supporting this PID.

Check out the dead players guide. I posted a link for my solution to the same problem you're having- atj2091N with ADFU driver not recognized/ winXP with error- this file does not contain information about your device.

Anyone have a firmware for the ATJ2091N chipset? I only have been able to find 2091H. I tried to clone another of my players (another 2091N 1GB model) but restore onto my dead player was a bust. BTW, my name is because I killed 2x 1GB players by plugging them into the "shuffle" port on an i-Home ipod player to charge overnight- next day had "hourglass of death." I didn't realize I had killed the first one that way because my wife detached it and gave it to my son, who then noticed it didn't work, and when I noticed the second one with the hourglass, I knew. It's funny because it only affected the firmware- probably just the boot sequence as it still showed the hourglass fine. I was able to read the files from the flash memory just fine once I got the ADFU driver up and running. I would recommend using the cheesy chargers they gave you or your computer USB port...
