BLACK SCREEN!

i have no idea how it happened but my screen suddenly turned black while i was listening to the radio. it was off black, you could still see the back light. this is NOT a problem with the firmware. when i try to charge it the back light flickeres on and off (still with a black screen) for about 30 seconds then stays on. cannot connect to computer either
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
