I have the same player and I'm pretty sure I killed mine by leaving it charging on my i-Home MP3 speaker system in the "shuffle" connector overnight. I also need firmware for same chipset as yours. The problem with the newer firmware is the 9.0.05 can't be read just yet by the regular firmware backup/extractor tools. There is some hope with the s1clone tool, but you've got to have another working, identical player to clone. I have a clone file of an ATJ2091N chipset that I'm posting on the downloads (if I can figure out how) but I can't seem to get the clone to work on another seemingly identical player (same chipset, board layout, etc). I have 2 ATJ2091N players, one of which works, and 1 ACU7513 player (for the kids).
