Firmware Update Locked!
 

I have one dead player and on working identical player. Firmware 9.0.50. I cloned the working player using S1Clone V1.1 to create a dump.bin file. Then I tried to use Utilities to upgrade firmware on the dead player using the cloned file. I did not expect this to work as I know a full firmware is required. However I did not expect the disaster that occurred! My firmware upgrade tool is now completely locked up - when I try to use it I get a Windows error message "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" some thing along the lines of RdiskUpdate.exe this programme has requested an unusual runtime termination. Please contact your application provider for further information. This is accompanied by a box that says "Reading File". There was also a countdown at one point but this has stopped. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Utilities, but the problem remains. Very grateful for any help or advice!!!
