Re: need firmware 9.1.51

Please help.....my player is being detected by my PC - but it cannot read files and keeps asking for reformatting. The player itself is working fine but I can not copy files into or from it. Please help.

Using one of the S1 tools I found that my firmware is 9.1.51 - I would appreciate if anyone could upload the firmware to the downloads section.

My player is a 2.0" MP4 player.

winnas , the v9.1.51 firmwares are extremely rare, and at the moment is not able to be extracted from any player. Try searching the CD that came with your player, there might be a .fw or .bin firmware file that you can use. Alternatively, try contacting your seller for the firmware, or get an exchange if it is under warranty.

Re: need firmware 9.1.51

Your are right I have tried finding the firmware on the net but no luck so far....and thats when I stumbled upon this site. Very nicely done I might add.

Coming back to my problem....the firmware is unfortunately not on my cd. I have contacted the supplier explaining my plight and am aaiting a reply. The trouble I will have to spend more on the shipping than the actual cost of the player.

Any leads to get this firmware would be most appreciated. I can also see that there quite a few people who are on the look out for this firmware.

Thanks,

Re: need firmware 9.1.51

Please help guys...Im sure someone would have taken a backup of the 9.1.51 firmware by now. I read somewhere that the S1clone tool allows you to take a backup of the entire firmware (even if it is 9.x.x.x). Plesae help....am pulling out the last few hairs on my head.

Re: need firmware 9.1.51

Sadly none of these downloads are working for me, I have a 1GB MP4, Digital Player 2.0" screen from ME2. Looks EXACTLY same as http://www.mympxplayer.org/20-265k-t...gb-asp158.html
Has anyone had any success or can anyone extract firmware from a similar spec device?
Mine is failing to work with anything so far. May be its not 9.1.51 I need, perhaps someone knows?

Thanks in Advance
