Default Did anyone try this trick to resurrect a deadly MP3 player ?

Hi every one,, I'm newbie here, hope you show me the right way to use this incredible forum for good in order to let everyone who's in need for such info,,
I'd like to add something i passed through many trials on my Astra 512 MP3 Player: ATJ2085 chip to force the system to accept my dead mp3 as a flashdisk,, it is to short the Capacitor which located near the SAMSUNG flash chip while connected into the USB,, I tried this way many times and it works to force the MP3 to enter ADFU mode.
here's a small pic showing the capacitor location,,

P.s:
I don't recommend anyone to experiment this trick as it may harm the rest of your beloved MP3's .
take care, and thnx in advance.
