Default is a firmware available for this MP4?

Well, I've looked everywhere, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Currently, my player is in ADFU mode, and I've tried all the firmwares with varied results, but they've never actually uploaded. Instead, I get messages like "downloading restorable main program" and "invalid firmware".

I'm getting the hourglass problem and it started when I wasn't even listening to it. I put it away so I could take my test at my new college and when I got back to it and tried to turn it on, the hourglass problem came up.

So anyway, here's the MP4 I have:

The firmware looks like this:

except with different hello and goodbye screens.

The codes on the chips are:

samsung 710 K9LAG08U0M PC80

and

ACU7513 61056CA C18

Is there a firmware available that I can use to fix this or is it only a paperweight?

Thanks

Neko

Here's more information if that helps.

number on the front M15-2GB-0307

I downloaded the oldest version of mp3 update tool I could find, version 1.0

That one helps the most, and it seems to know which firmware I need to fix my MP3.

Version 3.0.25. So, it tries to upload it again, but it says "Flash is no responding."

I've tried applying pressure to the chip, but still the same message. I've also tried uploading with 4.10 and 3.68.

Shia-Neko-Chan , you would need to identify the processor's serial number (eg ATJ2091, ATJ1085, etc). This way you would know which group of firmware series to try on your player.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29
